Disney begins accepting SLCP validation data and its validation plan for Higg FEM

Starting from January 10, 2024, Disney will accept SLCP validation reports for authorized (FAMA) factories.

Starting from January 10, 2024, Disney will accept the Social and Labor Integration Program (SLCP) validation report for authorized factories in licensed purchasing countries tomeet Disney's ILS audit requirements.

Key content

If you are willing to provide an SLCP verification report to Disney ILS, please note that it must be converted through the hosting platform (FFC) first before sending it to Disney. If SLCP verification is conducted on the Higg/Worldly platform, the factory needs to pay $60 to transfer the report from the Higg/Worldly platform to the FFC platform for sharing the verification report on the FFC platform.

Meanwhile, please pay attention to the conversion conditions of the SLCP verification report and meet the following requirements:

1. After the SLCP verification date, the conversion needs to be carried out on the FFC platform within 6 months.

2. The SLCP validation report must include the data completed by the SLCP data collection tool step2 or step3. The SLCP validation report containing only the data completed by step 1 is not acceptable.

3. SLCP verification must include a complete audit scope (e.g. covering all personnel, physical areas, required documents).

4. Only factories that have obtained Disney Production Authorization (FAMA) can submit SLCP verification reports. If you are unsure if a factory has been authorized, please contact your Disney ILS representative.

5. Please note that the conditions for an ILS audit report to be considered "qualified" can be found in the ILS Program Manual.

If your SLCP verification report meets the above requirements, you should proceed as follows:

Send an email to your ILS representative requesting the submission of an SLCP verification report, along with the factory name, factory ILS number, authorized/intermediary name, authorized/intermediary ILS number, indicating whether you are an FFC member and the email address Disney can use to create authorized/intermediary accounts and log in.

Particular attention

Disney ILS will share this information with FFC, and your information will be processed in accordance with FFC's privacy policy. Then, your ILS representative will inform you of the process for converting SLCP validation reports through FFC.

If the SLCP verification report does not meet the conversion criteria, you may be charged a report conversion fee and required to submit a qualified ILS audit report within 120 days to demonstrate compliance with MCS requirements.

Before April 30, 2024: Complete the Higg FEM-2023 module self-assessment.

Before June 30, 2024: Complete the Higg FEM-2023 module validation (for finished product manufacturers and facilities).
