The SLCP project aims to create an integrated evaluation framework for social labor data collection and eliminate audit fatigue. By promoting an effective integrated evaluationframework, it replaces the existing evaluation tools exclusive to various industries, thus avoiding duplication and reducing the number of social labor audits, and providing support for stakeholders to improve working conditions in the global clothing and footwear supply chain.

The SLCP social labor integration project is a new evaluation framework affiliated to the Sustainable Clothing Alliance, which contains systematic information collection tools and verification schemes. It is expected to gradually replace the exclusive and repetitive audit tools in the industry. The key goal is to cooperate with all stakeholders to help and support the improvement of labor working conditions in the global supply chain, releasefunds to more practical change projects, so as to create better working conditions for employees and create more business opportunities.

What is the SLCP certification and evaluation process?

Factory conducts self-assessment (factory only) or joint assessment (factory+external assistance);

Verifiers use evaluation tools to check the accuracy and completeness of the data collected in the previous step (they can confirm or modify the data in the original evaluation report). The Verification Supervision Organization (VOO) is responsible for selecting verifiers and conducting quality inspection:

Publish the verified evaluation data in a semi decentralized mode to the distribution gateway and the recognized hosting platforms for sharing.

What should be paid attention to when conducting on-site verification?

Validation scope:

1. In principle, all areas under the same business license should be covered (even if the factory has several factories and different production lines);

2. The data of the past 12 months include attendance records and payroll records;
